Yadrin, called Yadorin (ヤドリン) in the Japanese manual, is a hermit crab-like badnik that crawls along the ground. It is a placable object in Marble Zone using debug and appears in Spring Yard Zone in the Sega Mega Drive version of Sonic the Hedgehog and Bridge Zone in the 8-bit version. They are protected with spikes, making them invulnerable from above. Destroy these with a spin. "Yadokari" is Japanese for hermit crab. The badnik is referred to as "Spikes" in The Sonic the Hedgehog Yearbook.
