Somari is a pirate version of Sega's flagship video game Sonic the Hedgehog produced for the Famicom.
Sonic is a pirate of Adventure Island for the NES that makes replaces the main character with Sonic the Hedgehog. Other than the main sprites and title screen, the pirate is identical to the original. The new designs on some enemies and the new pallette the game looks strange in comparison to the original.
