The Wild Wild West cliché is not an especially common Sonic cliché, but very easily recognised when employed. Evoking the arid lawlessness of the mid-19th-century US fronteir, Wild Wild West levels will typically sport vast gorges and some sort of railroad feature. Saloons and tumbleweed are optional.
