<forumuser name="FlackoWeasel" /> FlackoWeasel aka Merlyn Kotljar is an Estonian freelance artist who draws art for a hobby and for members for free. Her name "Flacko" is a furson of her own weasel character, what she came up in 2003 and stayed since then in every forum she visits. Her love for Sonic is a reason she uses Sonic Retro.

"I used to glitch a lot my Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 games to find cool errors and lot's of interesting glitches and bypasses. Sonic 3 broke for that kind of use :P"

She is mostly interested in game sprites, colourful backgrounds, interesting characters and mostly game art. Sonic and Ristar is a reason why she started to videogame and her wish is one day she'll be able to make her own game. Probably inspired by Sonic games and Ristar. Music is very important and so is good gameplay to like games, also a very good sprite animation is needed too.

Her love into gaming started actually from NES period, when there were games like Chip and Dales, Ducktales and lots more.

Her love into gaming started in NES period, where there was such classics like Chip and Dales, Ducktales, Yumi Penguin, Felix The Cat, Kerokerokeroppi's Big Adventure and lots more. Due of these games she loves mostly 8 bit and 16 bit era, even if she owns the newest videogame consoles.

"If I ever make my videogame, it must have colourful characters, lands, catchy music and good gameplay, just like it was 90s! No 3D, only 2D and in sprites, that's what's the best!"

Thanks to videogames she also collects every kind of videogame consoles, mostly retro cus she owns the latest. With a help of TmEE she'll get to know more and more about consoles and learn how to modificate and fix them too. "I've always interested how they look inside and work, but back them I had nobody who teaches me this. Now when I do, my interest in this has grown magnifically! And owning them all gives a good feeling of having the best consoles, retro ones have a charm and these being hard to get is making this even more a challenge"

Gaming and art is what's she is mostly interested and also animations. Her deep love in animation made her interested into animation world.

"Animation has always been something very close to me. Thanks to Disney, Hanna Barbera, Tex Avery, Ub Iwerks and other great oldschool cartoons, they helped me to get interested in animations and into art of cartooning"

Since then, she doodles and draws lots of characters what look original. "I never really think what I draw, It happens on the go and I'll see what I come up with when it's finished. I always lend some animal "pieces" from other animals to make the wackiest animal"

She never asks any money (She doesn't say no to donations tho) from members as she thinks that drawing to someone to improve herself doesn't need to be paid, it's for her own improvement and gifts to others. Job offers are different and comissions.
