In the Sonic scene, QJimbo is best known as a former administrator at The Sonic 2 Beta Page, largely responsible for updating the site to carry information about the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Nick Arcade Prototype. He is also largely known for making a documentary about Michael Jackson's Link to Sonic 3's Music, which spread far and wide across the net, even though it was original designed simply for avid geeky Sonic fans.

Previously he was best known as the webmaster of Sonic Research Zone, and has been lurking around the Sonic Retro forums since 2003. He has been interested (but not heavily involved) in the sonic scene since 2000, and in that year created a site called Hill Top Zone, which eventually evolved into SRZ.

By 2004 he was an active member of the scene, managing to create a S2Beta -> S2Final music porter for use with Sonic QX. He also used RAM Hacking to create his Sonic 2 MP3 Tool, that allows you to have custom soundtracks for Sonic 2 when using Gens or Gens+ as an emulator.

He is also responsible for a number of split disassembly hacking guides for Sonic 1, accessible from the SCHG_How-to:Guide page.
