Dan Genesis (birth name: Dan Heiney) is among the most avid of Sonic fans, and has since '98 has done his best to collect every Sonic game and issue of Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comics.

Gemstone & Sor-don

One of Dan's first works, cosisted of a full cast of 17 characters, who made their home on Metalgem Island. This project was scrapped due to the stress of balancing it with other aspects of life at his then-young age (9-10 years old) Project years: 1999-2002

Adventures of Chaos

Dan's second project started with a conquered world, under the control on a devious evil known as Demon X. The only hope for stopping him was 7 young heroes: Flare, Splash, Tech, Quake, Whirlwind, Sol, and S.H.A.D.E. This work also introduce a recurring element in future projects: The Chaos Jewels (a parody of the Chaos Emeralds). The Chaos Jewels were initally of the colors Red (for Fire), Blue (Water), White (Space), Brown (Earth), Green (Wind), Yellow (Light), and Black (Dark). This project was later revised and changed the colors of the White, Brown, and Black Jewels to Silver, Orange, and Purple, respectively. It also saw the introduction of the Master Jewel (a white-colored parody of the Master Emerald), under the glow of which the seven aformentioned heroes could fuse into one being: Chaos Von Gin. This idea was scrapped due to more favorable stories. Project years: 2002-2004

Adventures of The Chaos Crew

Dan's third project featured a new host of characters, all based off of him and his friends: Dan, Ashley (originally scripted as a male character named Larry, Sam, Chris, Ed, Thomas, and Devan. These unlikely friends wer faced against two opposing forces: The Empire that ruled the earth, headed by Hunter Chase, and the viscious Hunters, lead by Kane. One of the most powerful characters was a spilt persona: Rosa/Aqua. As Rosa, she was the friendly compainion of our Heroes. As Aqua, however, she was more than a match for them. This story featured the same Jewels as Adventures of Chaos, but in a much more abundant form. This idea was scrapped, again, for more favorable ideas. Project Years: 2005-2006.

Legends of The Chaotic Reign

Dan's fourth and largest project, Legends of the Chaotic Reign has gone through many evolutions. Project years: 2006-present

Chronicles Of Chaos The first sub-project of the Chaotic Reign (CR) series, this story was set centuries into the future, and featured the revival of past characters Flare Magmus (Formerly simply 'Flare'), Splash Spring Tide (Splash), Cybertech Mech (Tech), Quake Aftershock (Quake), Whirlwind Turnade (Whirlwind), Sol NanuNanu (Sol), and Shade Xavier (S.H.A.D.E.), and featured Chaos Von Gin as a stand-alone character, wielding the power of Chaos locked in the Master Jewel. This also featured the introduction of families of the main characters, and the appearance of more heroes, Including the beautiful Tikal Chaotica, the deceptive N.E.C.R.A., the Young-But-Fearless Sammie Von Boo, and the lonely wanderer Blaze Vulcana, among others. This also introduced the devious Black Order (somewhat a parody of the Black Arms), and its new leader, Black Chaos (the dark twisted result of the fusion of Diamond Chaotica (Tikal's brother) with a pitch-black Jewel shard. It also showcased the 'fallen hero', Dani Von Gin (Chaos' sister), who took on the name of Viper amongst the Black Order. The story revealed Black Chaos and Viper being manipulated by a spirit inside the gem shard, known as Black Master, the first leader of the Black Order. This story was scrapped due to complaints from peers about the use of the names Chaos and Tikal.

Legends Of Lost The Second sub-project of CR. This took the reader back in time a little bit to the ancestors of the main characters of Chronicles Of Chaos, serving as a prequel of sorts. The first was Chaos Von Gin I, whose story revolved around him and his battle against the original form of Black Master. The next to come was Phoenix Magmus, who waged a personal war against the devious Black Fire. Following him was Levi Tide, who battled against Black Heart. Then came Orion Mech, and his triumphs against the cunning Black Hand (named in refference to a terrorist group by the same name). Next was Kryst Aftershock, and the great battles he had agains Black Stone. Kryst was followed by the first Dragon, Arkos Turnade, and the tales of his perils against Black Hurricane. Shortly afterwards he was followed by Spark NanuNanu, who dealed a serious series of strikes against Black Storm. The last hero was Alpha Xavier, who was created by and later betrayed and fought against Black X. This series was scrapped along with Chronicles Of Chaos, since it could not be the prequel to it if that series was scrapped. Dan has said that he may make a new series under the name of Legends of Lost to show the readers what happened after the Great War (See Legend of the Chaotic Reign).
