Researcher is a forum group on Sonic Retro reserved for those who have an extensive knowledge of the history of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sega as a whole, the latter befitting Sonic Retro’s sister site Sega Retro.
The purpose of the group was to both acknowledge those who have been active in the community outside of technical prowess, and to encourage continued research into the history of Sonic and Sega, all in hopes of creating the most extensive repository of information in the form of the Retro family of sites. Researchers also have their own dedicated sub-forum.
