Sonic 2 LD is an in-progress hack of Sonic 2 for the Master System, formerly known as Project H' and The Hybridisation Project Mark II; this project has been started by Doc Eggfan, though it quickly began to get art and music contributions from several other sceners from the Sonic Retro forum.

Aim: To create a true Master System port of the 16-bit Mega Drive/Genesis title Sonic the Hedgehog 2 using the engine of the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I'm hoping that this could be another community project if it garners enough interest.
