Sleeping Egg Zone, the third level in Sonic Chaos, is a unique zone. Breakable blocks, Eggman statues, frog bots, and onion bots define this stage as "weird." Theres also the pogo spring item. It has been suspected that this item's behavior was to be used in some prototypes of Sonic 2. The boss is a bouncing Mecha-Robotnik war gun which shoots projectiles in different directions.
