The Nintendo DS (double-screen) is the successor to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Features (as compared to a GBA)

  • 2 screens, capable of 3D graphics
  • 2 extra buttons (X and Y)
  • Much smaller cartridges
  • Touch screen
  • Not backward compatible with Game Boy games
  • Cannot play GBA games in multiplayer
