Minecart

Minecarts made their first appearance in Underground Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit). In this game they have the ability to destroy spikes on the floor.

There are minecarts also in Lost Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 4 Episode 1, where they've been source of controversy.
