Interceptor badnik
Interceptor is a badnik from Sonic Unleashed.

Interceptors are large, hovering badniks that chase after Sonic during day stages. They are sometimes referred to as mini-bosses. Interceptors' attack patterns vary between different versions of the game.

Wii/PS2 Version

In Wii and PS2 versions, Interceptors try to run over Sonic using the wheels at the ends of their arms (this can be avoided by quick-stepping). In addition, they only appear in Apotos and Eggmanland, and the day boss music plays when they appear. Interceptors in this version can be defeated by being hit with a Sonic Boost five times. When they overtake Sonic and the camera moves behind them, they will be vulnerable for a short period of time.

360/PS3 Version
