The Making of... Sonic the Hedgehog (Edge, September 2001)

Sonic the Hedgehog is a four page retrospective of Sonic the Hedgehog in an issue of the US magazine known as Edge Magazine. Page one makes mention of the McDonalds line of LCD games released. Page two and three mentions that rabbits, pandas, armadillos, and kangaroos, among other creatures were considered as the mascot character before the hedgehog was selected.
