Sonic Retro, who is active on both the forum and on the wiki. Using his technical skill, he has done extensive researches on the classic Sonic games, which eventually resulted in the
Sonic Physics Guide, possibly his best known work. Mercury's other works include a Sonic engine (
in progress), a
Sonic 1 special stage editor (
released), the
Sonic Extractor programmes, a tutorial that explains how to implement fully functional and correctly displayed "zone-agnostic objects" (pushable and breakable blocks) in every
Sonic 1 zone (
in progress), and the hack
Sonic the Hedgehog: The One Ring. He was nominated for membership of the
Tech Member group a few times, and was awarded it on June 7th, 2010.
