Mercury is a
Tech Member on
Sonic Retro who is active on both the forum and on the wiki. With his superior technical skills he's been doing extensive researches on the classic Sonic games, which eventually resulted in the
Sonic Physics Guide, possibly Mercury's best known work. Aside from the aforementioned guide, Mercury's other works include a Sonic engine (
in progress), a
Sonic 1 special stage editor (
released), the
Sonic Extractor programmes, and a tutorial which explains how to put pushable blocks and breakable blocks in every
Sonic 1 zone (
in progress). Because of the constant high quality of his forum posts, he was nominated for
Tech Membership a few times, and on June 7th, 2010, a consensus was finally reached. It was a narrow victory and much sweat was expelled. Following his approval a galaxy wide party, not unlike the celebration at the end of Star Wars VI, was thrown. Aliens, creatures, and even Al Gore celebrated as bonfires were started and fireworks were lighted. Praise Mercury. May he forever remain a Tech Member.
