The (Thunder) Spana (スパナ), also known as their model number E-16 Electro Spinner, is a badnik that appears in Sonic Adventure and part of the E-Series.
It's an upgrade of the Spina with an intermitent electric discharge field.
Supposedly, there are two advanced models. The first is E-15 Spiky Spinner, which supposedly has an armour with spikes and that appears (at least) in the last parts of Speed Highway and Sky Deck as said so in the official guides, though in-game, there seems to be no difference in design whatsoever. The second is Spana, a Spina which discharges an electric field every now and then.
