Yes, anyone will be allowed to commit, not just tech members. I guess I point of view on what is deserving of tech status is different than the community and that is why I have always said I don't want that status. I feel anyone that has lots to contribute is worthy of the status, not someone that writes a popular program, but that is just me. HG seems to be down
