This is the user manual for SonLVL, a level editor supporting the 16-bit Sonic games. Rather than editing ROM files directly, SonLVL uses INI files designed for specific split Disassemblies, allowing greater flexibility.
SonLVL supports the following games:
- Sonic 1
- Sonic 2
- Sonic 3 & Knuckles
- Sonic & Knuckles Collection
- Sonic CD (Mega CD & 1995 PC versions)
SonLVL also supports the Chaotix object layout format, and supports user-defined custom formats for level layouts, object layouts, and ring layouts.
