There are two previews in the November 1992 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. This first is a part of a Sega Force insert.

On page 116 it points out what was supposed to be Sonic 1 CD, but turned out to be Sonic CD. It says,"all new versions of Sonic the Hedgehog and Batman Returns."
