xm2smps is a program created by Nineko that converts songs from the XM (eXtended Module) format to the SMPS (Sample Music Playback System) format hence allowing hackers to easily put custom music in their hacks.
It's not user-friendly by purpose, you must know what you're doing if you plan to use it. It runs under MS-DOS, and it has been obsoleted by xm3smps, which is an improved version for Microsoft Windows. Because of this, xm2smps won't be developed anymore.
