Witchcart[1] (ウィチカート[2]) is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and one of the antagonists of the Sega Game Gear game Tails' Skypatrol, serving as the leader and final boss. She is an elderly witch who rides in a minecart, hence her name, meaning she cannot go anywhere if she is not on a rail.

History
In Tails' Skypatrol, Tails finds her on an island one day. She announces, according to the manual, to no-one in particular, that she is claiming the entire island for herself, and then threatens to turn any dissenters into a crystal. To enforce her rule, Witchcart sends out her minions Hocke-Wulf, Bearenger, and Carrotia, as well as some other minor Badniks, to guard different sections of the island while she retreats to her base at Dark Castle Area. Tails would eventually chase out all of her minions and defeat her, saving the island.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by Archie Comics, Witchcart was introduced in the post-Super Genesis Wave universe, albeit with a completely different background. Here, she is known as Wendy Naugus, and is the twin sister of Walter Naugus, with her species changed to a troll just like her brother.
Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW comics)
After the events of Tails' Skypatrol, Witchcart traveled to Flicky Island and started capturing all the birds she and her minions could find. With her powers, she was able to trap Sonic the Hedgehog in crystal, forcing Tails to have to find a way to save his blue buddy. In her Panic Puppet Fortress, she kept Sonic locked away with several other Flickies while she studied their secrets. Tails eventually found his way into her fortress and used equipment he took from Witchcart's minions to free Sonic. Once Witchcart realized she was outmatched by Tails and Sonic, she tried to get away. Tails went after her and deflected one of her energy bolts back at her, sealing her in her own crystal prison.[3]
