Vanilla is the name of Cream's mom. She appeared for the first time in Sonic Advance 2, and made an appearance near the end of Sonic X. She's the main reason Sonic Advance 2 takes place, as Sonic has to save her from Eggman. She's not a terribly deep character, as she hasn't really done anything other than get captured.
