History

Retarded beginnings at SSRG

Selbi originally joined the scene in late 2007. Because of his bad English and thinking he is awesome at hacking (which of course wasn't the case), he didn't get validated at all, but banned. In June 2008 he joined the SSRG and started his "hacking carrier" there, but because of his sub-par English, he quickly became something new (in other words, retarded).

By releasing a hack called Sonic 1: Project 255 on August 2008, he got banned from SSRG (the hack was just a piece of crap with stolen content from Sonic 1 Harder Levels Version and the very first Sonic Megamix). After this time was over he returned being much more active, but not more careful (as he actually should be). At this point, he started learning ASM, and eventually got better and better at it.

On Retro

Selbi tried astounding 9 times to get approved on the Sonic Retro validation forum (9 accounts and not just 9 tries with 1 account), which is probably the current record in the whole community. 8 times he failed miserably because of poor English, bad validation posts, etc. But on June 2009, exactly 1 year in the scene, he finally made a good validation post and got approved.

Today

While Selbi isn't much of an artist, but he does know his deal of programing (Motorola 68k ASM, Visual Basic .NET and PHP to be specific). He likes helping people and creating tutorials (he feels embarassed by those though, which is why he only posts them on SSRG). He is a member of a number hacking teams, including Team ZX and Harder Project. One of his main goals is to be a Tech Member in the future (even though he doesn't think it ever will be accomplished). Nowadays he is mostly working on his hack, hoping it'll be something really special one day. He also works on hacking utilities sometimes. His latest project was Sonic 2 - Text Code Generator, which is able to create or modify title cards and end cards. He doesn't really contribute much to the Wiki, just mainly stuff about his own pages or random edits here and there.
