Oerg866 is a German scener. His current project is , an ASM hack of Sonic 1.
A german Scener who has been in the community since September 2006 when he first stumbled across S2beta, (SWS2B as it was called at that time) after playing around with the Sonic 2 Beta ROM. However, at that time he was an AOL user, so he couldn't register until an Admin gave him permissions to try and pass the test. 3 months later he changed his ISP, so that he isn't a so-called "AOL-Faggot".

He was at first just making bullcrap in the forums and IRC. When he asked where to buy a ROM Dumper, he was given Porn-Links. He got banned and he left in early-mid '07. Around July he came back, passed the test and also got a full member. After a flamewar with a member called "Sith" (The topic where the flamewar started was a hidden menu in KegaFusion wich had debugging functions. This menu was hidden in the .exe file besides the normal File-Load-Option-etc.-Menu. Many thought that this simply was a hack of fusion.exe. However, the menu IS stored in the Fusion file, so the flamewar about it was totally senseless.) This flamewar got him banned from the forums at first temporarily until August 25. Sith also got a ban, but a short one only. Oerg was inactive until that  point. When he checked if he was finally unbanned, he just saw that he was permbanned. He does not know the reason, though.

Even though it was false, Oerg had to take it. He also had a hater called "Nineko", who sniped at him at every single possible moment. So he left the scene.

Oerg866 is a German scener. His current project is
Sonic Retro
Sonic The Hedgehog - Oergomized
, an ASM hack of Sonic 1.

He has been in the community since September 2006 when he first stumbled across Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta page after playing around with the Sonic 2 Beta ROM. However, at that time he was an AOL user, so he couldn't register until an administrator gave him permissions to try and pass the test. Three months later he changed his ISP, so that he isn't a so-called "AOL-Faggot".

His first few posts, both in the forums and the IRC, were in his own words "bullcrap". On September 10, 2006, he asked where he could buy a ROM dumper on the IRC, but was given porn links in reply, sparking a

. He got banned and he left in early-mid 2007. Around July 2007 he came back, passed the test and also became a full member. After a

flamewar
with a member called Sith over his discovery of a hidden debug menu in Kega Fusion which turned out to do nothing, he was banned again. Although the ban was initially only for a period of one week, Tweaker decided to turn it into a permanent ban since he considered Oerg to be a "complete asstard". Before the ban, Oerg had

and contacted the authors, but by the time he received their answer he was already banned and could not post it. Before he came back in December 2007, he had secretly learnt a bit of hacking. There had also been a complete turnaround in his relationship with Nineko, who had previouly hated him - he would later even go on to beta test soniNeko. So he was given the ability to register again when he translated a 6-page long Sonic 3 article originally printed in a German magazine. This article was very interesting, as it featured several things that weren't seen before, most notably a mention of a "Help!" item. Because of this he was given trial membership again. However, he rather unwisely used all 10 posts at the same time and got stuck in Pending Approval. After several discussions with Tweaker, he was able to try the Technical quiz, gaining 10 more posts which he spent well by
Sonic Retro
posting several translations
and a thread about his hack. He became a member again, but one that was more respected than before.
