Twelve Days of Sonic was a contest held via the official Twitter account for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Film in partnership with GameSpot. To enter the contest, the contestant needed a Twitter account and the contestant needed to retweet the page's daily tweet in order to have a chance at winning.
Contents
Day 1
On December 9th, 2019 the official twitter account announced the contest, along with the official rules and picture of the prize the contestants had a chance to win. The following days would follow the same pattern, the page would tweet a image of the prizes and share links to the rules and how to enter. The first prize given away was the biggest prize, A trip for two to Los Angeles for An Exclusive Special Screening Of Sonic. The trip included the following:
- Round-trip, economy flights for two to Los Angeles
- Two nights hotel in Hollywood with daily breakfast for two – one room, double occupancy;
- Private sedan transfers to/from airport and hotel
- $250Pre-paid gift card for meals
- Two Hop-On-Hop-Off Los Angeles tour passes
- $25 arcade gift card to local arcade (Dave & Busters or similar)
- Two passes to the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG premiere/family event
Only one person will be the lucky winner to obtain the grand prize.
Day 2
On December 10th, 2019 contestants got a chance to win a personalized message from Sonic himself. Only two contestants will be picked to win the prize.
Day 3
On December 11, 2019 three lucky contestants had a chance to win a set of signed cast posters & Spotify premium subscription gift cards.
Day 4
On December 12, 2019 four lucky contestants had a chance to win one of four Sega Genesis Mini consoles.
Day 5
On December 13th, 2019 five lucky contestants had a chance to win a VIP night at the movies for 5, which included the following:
