Tornado Defense is a minigame in Sonic Unleashed. Piloting the Tornado, you must press the correct button at the correct time to shoot down enemies. Tornado Defense has two Acts, one in Spagonia and one in Eggmanland.
This is mainly used at the beginning of the game to get people used to the Quick-Time Events (QTE's) which appear at points throughout the game. It is used again near the end of the game to push your QTE skills to the limit and to prepare for Eggmanland.
You must defeat the Egg Cauldron to finish this stage. Failing it will require you to do the entire Tornado Defense stage again.
