Would it be better to simplify this so it only returns the name of the magazine (e.g. cvg -> Computer and Video Games)? Ultimately there will only be a few tens of pages using this template, so I think typing in the months manually would be less trouble than maintaining this and all connected templates. - Hivebrain (talk) 15:54, 21 February 2017 (CST)
- Problem is, the month name printed in the magazine doesn't necessarily correlate with when it went to press (IIRC Mean Machines Sega is as much as two months out in some cases) - if we're tracking the history of prototypes or whatever, a week or two can be important.
- I'm not amazingly keen on maintaining 438209423 MagazineNameXXX templates on three different wikis, but there doesn't seem to be a Retro CDN solution -Black Squirrel (talk) 10:08, 25 February 2017 (CST)
