Sound effect

[1] This needs more research. I recently noticed this (to be honest, I noticed this around 5 months back, but w/e), but I didn't test in all games. I have this list, though, for the games I tested. Feel free to add to this so we can have an interesting list of games that contain this tidbit.

  • Sound alternates
    • Sonic 1
    • 2
    • 3 (& Knuckles)
    • CD
    • Knux' Chaotix
  • Sound doesn't alternate
    • Heroes

I know this is unrelated, but while that we're talking about the ring sound effect, don't forget that the left ring and the right ring sfxs in Sonic 1 and in Sonic 2 have different durations (though it was fixed in Sonic 3, I eventually checked that). This might be another trivia which could be added. Nineko 23:17, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
OH! That explains why there are 2 ring sound effects in the sound test. I always wondered about that as a kid. And while I was testing to see which games had and hadn't, some of them played on a certain speaker correctly while others certainly sounded different... Espyo 16:18, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Ring.gif stretching

The gif of the spinning ring appears to have color bleeding due to being stretched from 16 pixels to 48 pixels. Perhaps the gif should be resized? MainMemory 17:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
