Issues Showing Time Zones
I have been working very hard on making these work on all browsers and screen sizes. Below here are two possible solutions to what is currently displayed, and goes off the screen for most low resolutions.
The first one I made converts the sideways portion of the template and makes it go vertical instead:
Picture | Time Zone | Info |
---|---|---|
Present | The scenery is very cheerful in the present, apart from the occasional badnik, of course. Green plants, large trees, flowers, everything is normal. A perfect place for a young, energetic hedgehog to begin an adventure.
| |
Past | Back in time, the world was much different. The level's past resembles a prehistoric era, including large leafed trees and such. Remember to destroy the robotizer here, or...
| |
Bad Future | ...this will happen. The entire land is filled with dead grass, what plants remain are half-robotic, the badniks are ill-maintained, and the water in the background is filled to the brim with toxic waste.
| |
Good Future | Luckily, you can stop this from happening by defeating Eggman's schemes in the past. The world is much different now; although machinery is still around, it is helping the environment rather than hurting it.
|
The other I tried to cut the sideways alignment in half, but in doing so lost the boxes they were in!

I could really use someones help regarding this, and what would be the best solution for all screen resolutions. --RGamer2009 19:54, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
I like the box, use that one.--MathUser 20:20, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
What about this? The only problem is that sometimes floated elements will wrap in an unfortunate way with smaller screen sizes. --PicklePower 02:27, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Wow PicklePower, that looks great! Only issue I have with it is that the time zone was not there when I first saw it. I looked around for a bit, then I noticed them at the top-right of the pictures. Do you think there is a way to better distinguish the time zone from the picture? --RGamer2009 05:52, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
How about like this? If this seems suitable then we should make a template for it. PicklePower 18:48, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, go for it! --RGamer2009 22:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- All right, done. PicklePower 12:04, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- Mk, the template looks awesome, but whenever I use it, the songs for the time zones don't play! Is there an issue with the template regarding this, or is it simply that I misspelled the song names? --RGamer2009 18:38, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- You misspelled it. It needs the <flashmp3> tag and stuff. Just cut/paste one that DOES work and then tweak the file on a level-by-level basis by checking the OST page(s); that's what I do. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 01:21, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think thats the problem. I just tried that in preview mode, and it still didn't work. --RGamer2009 01:29, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- Take the flashmp3 tag out of the template page and hardcode it into the level page each time then. That works for standard LevelBob. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 02:52, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
