I can see why you recategorised it, since it's not really a badnik, but what does debug have to do with anything? I would also have preferred it to stay on the template. - Hivebrain 18:39, 26 January 2009 (CST)

This page

Is there a source for this name? I can't see any mention of it in the Japanese manual.

If there are no objections, I'd like to remove this from the Sonic 1 omni, since it's no more an enemy than the buzz-saws in Scrap Brain Zone, and add it as an "Obstacle" on the Labyrinth Zone page. (Like spikes on the Green Hill Zone page.) Not sure where the Technical Information would best be placed though. I understand that section of the wiki is being restructured somewhat? --Pecky (talk) 13:14, 10 April 2020 (EDT)

The name is from the strategy guide, I think. I'd be inclined to keep pages for obstacles, especially if they appear in more than one game. Spikes also have their own page. - Hivebrain (talk) 20:13, 10 April 2020 (EDT)
How about if the wiki page remains, but it's removed from the Enemies tab of the omni, after being added (with page link) under "Obstacles" Labyrinth Zone? Thinking of other games, should non-hazardous gimmicks, like the hang glider and spinning top, also fall under the Obstacles heading? The Sonic Rush Adventure guide book categorizes both helpful and hindering objects as "Gimmicks", so maybe that would be a better catch-all term? I think some of the manuals use that term too, but I'd have to check. --Pecky (talk) 23:00, 10 April 2020 (EDT)
