Super Mecha Sonic is basically a flying redish-gold Mecha Sonic that shoots 3 yelloish energy balls and does a air to ground spin attack. after a while, turns back into Mecha Sonic and has to absorb energy from the Master Emerald again. you have to attack it 8 times before destroing it. you attack it when as soon as it falls after it's 3 gold energy ball attack It is the final boss while playing as Knuckles in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
