Spelunk the Mole is a character who appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series.
History
He is a mole which lives in Marble Zone. He is not initially trusting of anyone and regards the treasure buried in his cave as his only friends.
In the episode "Subterranean Sonic", he is found by Sonic and Tails who find an entrance to his underground cavern system. He does not trust the heroes and tries to capture them, fearing they will reveal the location of the treasure inside his lair. After Sonic escapes and rescues him from a falling boulder, he befreinds the two heroes and helps them to leave the cave and stop Dr. Robotnik from stealing his treasure.
