Speed Slider

Speed Slider is one of five stages in Knuckles Chaotix, and as its name implies, it is built for characters such as Mighty and Espio who lack aerial abilities but are quick on their feet. Maintaining speed is a matter of utilizing Ring Power snap techniques and being able to change direction quickly.

At the end of Speed Slider 5, the player and partner find themselves in front of a carousel that Robotnik has rigged to launch upwards like a rocket. Robotnik hides in the center of the carousel as spiked platforms and strong winds threaten the player. The level ends when the player destroys the Dark Ring being used to power the ride.
