Sonic to Himitsu no Ring Taikenban (ソニックと秘密のリング 体験版) for the Wii is a free demo disc for Sonic and the Secret Rings that was offered to 1,000 people in Japan who registered via Famitsu by 10PM February 23rd, 2007.

According to Famitsu, four zones are available to play in the Adventure mode of the demo. These stages are Lost Prologue, Sand Oasis, Dinosaur Jungle, and Evil Foundry. There are eight stages in the Lost Prologue to help the player learn the game and controls. Various skills on the skill ring can be activated, about 20 types in all. There is also a special book mode.
