Sonic 2 2013 The Screen optimization for the Remastered version is very different compared to the Mega Drive screen.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 have an 4:3 Aspect Radio. Meanwhile, Sonic 2 (2013) have a 16:9 Aspect Radio.

You can access to this level in Mystic Cave Act 2 for the 2013 version. In the Simon Wai prototype, this level is a prototype, not finished yet.
In the Original Act, this size are a secure Dead. In the remaster, this place became into the Hidden Palace Zone entrance.
Tails can Fly
In this remaster, Tails can fly and take Sonic in the Air.

The Ending
In the original end credits, after that, just went out the Sonic 2 cutscene logo.
In the remaster, now there's a post-credits cutscene about the canceled Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles remaster.
In the 2013 remaster, the game is concluided with Dr. Eggman arriving to Angel Island.
Special Stage
The original Special Stage have a pixelart style. But the 2013 remaster have a 3D style
