Stories

Story one

In Flower Field Zone, Amy Rose shows her Fortune Cards to her animal friends. She tells them of how these cards led her to her first meeting with Sonic the Hedgehog at Never Lake before the events of Sonic CD. From her deck she now pulls out a card that warns her of Metal Sonic's appearance. She rushes the animals into hiding to protect them from the evil robot she is all too familiar with. Metal Sonic finds nothing here and flies off, Amy suspects he is on the hunt. She heads off to warn her friends of the danger, and a blue Flicky decides to travel with her. Amy arrives at Waterfall Grove Zone where she suspects to find Sonic after her Fortune Card reading. She sees one of Dr. Eggman's capsules and realizes he is once again collecting animals. She opens the capsule up to find Fang the Hunter trapped inside. He tells her that him and his gang botched another job for Eggman so he locked them up. Amy suggests they team up but Fang walks off to hind his boys on his own. Metal Sonic sees that Fang has been lost and Amy went off into a different direction. He goes after Amy but is unable to find her.

Later in Orchard Forest Zone, Amy suspects to find Miles "Tails" Prower and discovers Ray the Flying Squirrel instead. Ray tells her about how Metal Sonic tried to capture him and Mighty the Armadillo. Mighty told Ray to run and he would be right behind him. Mighty was unsuccessful in his battle with Metal Sonic and both of them were captured. Ray and Amy travel to Market Harbor Zone where they wonder if they'll find Sonic, Mighty or Knuckles. Instead, they found Bark the Polar Bear, who scares Ray. He was surrounded by Eggrobos but manages to fend them all off with help from Amy and Ray. Amy knows Bark is a good person deep down who is just with in a rough crowd and he gets shy about it but decides to go with them.

The three of them travel together to Eggman Island Zone where everything is made of metal. Here they find all of the capsules Eggman and Metal have been collecting. Metal Sonic burst in to stop them but soon enough the three heroes finally find Sonic and Tails. In another capsule is Bean the Dynamite who hung a picture of his father in his capsule. One even held Vector the Crocodile inside. Fang is also here and he finally helps to take down Metal. Together they trap Metal Sonic inside of a capsule and the heroes all celebrate while Bark, Bean and Fang head out. Back in Flower Field Zone, the heroes give a toast to Amy for her heroism. At night, Eggman sees all the capsules empty on his island and goes after Metal Sonic for failing his one job.
