Sonic Sanctuary (also known as the Sonic Music Archive) is an archive of music files for the Sonic 1 SMPS driver to be used in hacks by everyone. It was founded by Irixion around September 1st, 2008 to aid hackers in need of music. The archive has not grown large yet, due to its lack of members. Members may "request" music they would like for their hack, which may or may not be filled in by other archive members. Submissions and voice archives are also present.

History

After being on RandomSonicNet for a short period of time, the website moved to a local server, and is now hosted by Digibase Operations. The site has also gone through numerous transformations, from being a general hacking forum to an art archive, to its current state--a music archive.
