Sonic Robo Blast is an early Sonic fan game from 1998 and the created by Sonikku, real name Johnathan Wallbank, of Sonic Team Junior. The sequel, Sonic Robo Blast 2, was very similar to this game before the move to 3D. Despite the lack of scrolling, it was considered a very good fan game due to its long length and secrets.

History

Sonikku started working on this game May of 1997 and the first version mentioned is 1.0b which had the initial 3 zones. 1.1a added 4 more zones and Knuckles is now in the game. Version 1.2f added the rest of the zones (14 in total), cheats, multiplayer, intro, and more. 1.2fcd was just 1.2f with CD music. 1.3 fixed bugs when it was converted from Kilk & Play to Games Factory.
