Sonic R Trial Version is a demo of Sonic R that was released in Japan in a 3 disc set with two other demos for the games Shining Force III and Machi. There are four playable characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy with Metal Sonic included as an unlockable character. The only available track is Resort Island. Besides the slightly different Title screen it is the same as Final.
