Sonic Putter (ソニックパター) is a mobile phone game released as part of the Sonic Cafe service offered by Sega. This game is basically Crazy Golf - the player plays as Sonic and views the map, points the direction he wants the shot to go, and then correctly times the power of the shot. Once a shot is putted, results are shown and the player has the option of uploading their score to a high-scores server. It is also possible to download at least one new course from the server. The game has several gimmicks, as you'd expect from crazy golf: there are panels that carry the ball around the course, warp panels, breakable walls, & the ball can jump. A newer version was released in 2009.
