Sonic Origins Plus (ソニックオリジンズ・プラス) is an upgraded re-release of the 2022 compilation Sonic Origins with additional games and content. In addition to being released as paid downloadable content to all digital copies of the original game, this updated version also received a physical release which includes a reversible Sega Mega Drive-themed sleeve and a 20-page art book. All DLC originally for the base game is also included.

Sonic Origins Plus has all the content of the base game, but also adds additional content featured only in this update:
Extra characters
Amy Rose has been added as a playable character in all four of the main games in the collection. In addition, Knuckles has been made playable in Sonic the Hedgehog CD.

All 12 Sonic the Hedgehog games originally released for the Sega Game Gear have been added in emulated form. They are all accessible via the Museum in the main menu:
