In Origins, the Extras must be unlocked individually for the Classic, Anniversary and Mirror Modes. Additionally, the remaster credits no longer play after beating the hidden 8th Special Stage as Origins unified both sets of credits.
Dessert Dazzle and Stage Select
In the Sound Test, set the values to PCM32, DA08. This will showcase the scrapped remaster Zone of Dessert Dazzle. This will also enable the Stage Select but no longer exclusively uses Tails, meaning Tails is unusable within both methods to access the Stage Select (and thus, Classic Mode), along with the ability to start a game with all Time Stones obtained, as such progress isn't carried over from the most recently accessed save file anymore.

Hidden Palace Zone is listed beneath Death Egg Zone, but can now only be accessed by enabling debug mode and inputting the code formerly used to access Proto Palace Zone. Attempting to access it without the code will just play a buzzer sound, as in the original remaster if Hidden Palace Zone hadn't been properly "unlocked" yet. Play sounds 03, 03, 03, 0B, 10, 10, 10, 04 in the Sound Test, then simply choose "Hidden Palace" in the menu.
With this change, Proto Palace Zone has been removed from the remaster entirely.

v1.04 sound test codes
As of the v1.04 update, new cheat codes have been added which can be entered in the sound test on the level select screen:
Play sounds 01, 09, 09, 02, 01, 01, 02, 04 (the edit mode code in Sonic 2, also the date the game released in North America). This code is useful only for Classic Mode, still being activatable in Anniversary Mode despite being useless there.
Enable Super Peel-Out
Play sounds 01, 09, 09, 03, 00, 09, 02, 03 (referencing the Japanese release date of Sonic CD). This will allow Sonic to perform the Super Peel-Out.
Fly anywhere as the characters' Super Form
Play sounds 02, 00, 01, 07, 00, 08, 01, 05 (referencing the release date of Sonic Mania). This allows every character in their Super form to fly in any Zone like Super Sonic normally would in Egg Reverie Zone from Sonic Mania. The player can even perform a dash in the air, which will cost 5 Rings. This also allows Knuckles to go into some Sonic/Tails routing.
Disable Super music
Play sounds 06, 02, 01, 04 (All Chaos Emeralds code backwards).
Disable '& Knuckles' branding
Play sounds 01, 09, 09, 04, 00, 02, 00, 02 (referencing the North American release date of Sonic 3). This will remove the '& Knuckles' branding from the title screen, title cards and endings, however the music will remain the same.
All Badniks are Penguinators
Classic Shield monitors
Play sounds 01, 09, 09, 01, 00, 06, 02, 03 (referencing the widely-known "street date" of the North American release of Sonic 1; the actual release date was a few days before it). All Shield monitors will change to the regular Shield, using its graphics from Sonic 2. This is represented with a blue item ball in the Bonus Stages.
Play sounds 04, 07, 09, 08, 01. All monitors will become "?" monitors that release random items when broken. This is represented with a new "?" item ball in the Bonus Stages.
Monitors give out bananas
Play sounds 02, 00, 00, 01, 01, 00, 01, 03 (referencing the birthday of Headcannon developer Derrek “TheStoneBanana” Harbold). All monitors will display "?" and release the banana item from Competition mode when broken, which will make the player's character slip. Unlike the cheats for Classic Shield monitors, random monitors and no items, this perhaps intentionally doesn't affect the Bonus Stages in any way.
Play sound 00 eight times. All Rings, monitors and Giant Rings will be removed from all Zones. Additionally affects the inaccessible Bonus Stages and The Doomsday Zone, making the latter virtually impossible to complete.
No camera lag
Play sounds 02, 02, 06, 03, 07, 02. This will prevent the camera from falling behind when moving at high speeds during gameplay.
Extra abilities in Competition mode
Play sounds 03, 02, 01, 06, 00 ("3, 2, 1, GO!"). This will allow Sonic to use the Insta-Shield and Drop Dash, and Knuckles to Glide in Competition mode. This additionally works with Sonic's Super Peel-Out if the code is enabled. It will also change the physics to match the 1 Player mode.
Placeable in edit mode
A collision viewer object. Highlights the terrain in different colours when placed, indicating solid terrain. Place it again to turn it off.
An "S" monitor. This transforms Sonic, Tails and Knuckles into Hyper Sonic, Super Tails and Hyper Knuckles respectively.
A Hyper Ring monitor. This item is left over from Sonic Mania and functions exactly as it did there, however the Ring counter will display the wrong palette due to using graphics from Sonic Mania. This item may also appear when playing with the random monitors cheat.
A Teleporter monitor. Does nothing when broken.
Blueprint Zone is a test level with simple graphics and lots of slopes, which was originally used by Christian Whitehead to test RSDKv5. Object graphics for Blueprint Zone can be found in earlier versions of Sonic Mania.
