Music

BioWare (the main creators of Sonic Chronicles) had a full, originally composed soundtrack made for the game. However, before release they had to pull the stage music out for a variety of legal reasons. Under pressure of this, along with time constraints, BioWare took pre-existing MIDI files (a music composition format) of music from earlier Sonic games from different Sonic fan websites, and added them as the Stage music. The Sonic Community has criticized this decision greatly. Time constraints also made them use an unfinished custom soundfont (a variety of instruments in one file). Because of this, some percussion instruments in certain songs are missing. An example of this can be found in the song "Nocturne."
