The Green Hill Zone title card from Sonic 3D Blast 5 remains as a leftover in the game and is loaded into VRAM on the Game Over screen. Also partially unused in Sonic Adventure 8 as the Zone and numbers are used in it but not the Green Hill part.

Because this version crashes when reaching the Signpost, it is impossible to access other levels in normal play, therefore cheat codes are required to access other levels. To access the other levels, set memory address C27D to any value between 01 and 04 and press Start at the title screen, or use Gameshark/Action Replay code 01XX7DC2 (where XX is any value between 01 and 04)[1].

Cheat device codes

These are cheat codes that can only be used with game enhancer devices. Support for these codes is available in most emulators.
