</div> Slowwww Going is the 4th episode of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic meets up with a Sloth Family and protects them only to wind up needing to be rescued by them.
Episode summary
The show opens with Robotnik wanting to use a Sloth family who are living in a tree as bait to create a trap for Sonic. He sends Scratch and Grounder down to give them a scare. Rocket the Sloth send a distress signal to Sonic. Robotnik picks up Scratch and Grounder only to send them straight back after he gives them a "Sub-atomic Slo-Go Beam Weapon" to use on Sonic. It's powered by a Mobian Mega-Crystal which was 9 years in the making.
Sonic arrives and has Tails write a list of needed materials for fixing the house. He discovers Tails could not write out the list properly as he is 4 1/2 years old and is still illiterate. They get the needed materials to repair the treehouse and start to fix it. Scratch and Grounder arrive and try to shoot Sonic with the Sub-atomic Slo-Go Beam Weapon. Sonic builds a barricade. Scratch and Grounder wind up shooting Robotnik instead and he retreats.
As Sonic runs down the road Scratch and Grounder set up a fake schoolhouse and intend to shoot Sonic when he slows down to go around it. That fails but they finally get Sonic when Grounder dresses up as a Sloth further along the road. Sonic stopped to converse with it and got blasted at that time. Scratch and Grounder take him into custody and put him in a cage. They proceed to taunt Sonic as he sits in the cage.
Tails comes to rescue Sonic and manages to smuggle out the "Sub-atomic Slo-Go Beam Weapon". Tails finds that by putting a broken Mobian Mega-Crystal in the weapon it can make others faster, rather than slower. He speeds up the sloths and they all run to Sonic's rescue. Tails sneaks in and Shoots Sonic and his speed returns. After he is released he goes on to defeat both Scratch and Grounder then takes out the Mobian Mega-Crystal and destroys it.
Sonic Says segment
This episode of Sonic Says has Sonic teaching that Sloths can share their wisdom to those that pride themselves on their speed. Tails winds up walking into quicksand and Rocket tells him to move slowly. Tails does so and works his way out of the quicksand.
