General

Art Description
Early title screen graphics for Sonic, Ray and Mighty. The early Sonic sprite was used in the prototype, but Ray and Mighty were never seen outside of graphic data[1].
Early character select graphics for Sonic and Ray. Sonic's face was later redrawn, and Ray's patagia were emphasised. Mighty's early graphics are identical to the final, so are not shown here[1].
Early versions of the trio's sprites when running away in the intro sequence. Mighty is the only character to have an early "panicked" sprite, which shows a different expression[1].
Animations of the trio flexing, becoming muscular in the process[1]. Code to display these animations in-game still exists, but doesn't appear to be used anywhere[2].
