Metallic Madness Badnik 1, not listed in any Sonic CD manual, is a unique badnik. Unlike other badniks, it sometimes holds monitors. If you get caught in the claw in the back, the badnik will roll you, in ball form, a little bit and then shoot you in the direction opposite to where it is facing. Hit it on the head to destroy.
