Morning of Farewells is the 50th episode in the first season of Sonic X. In the English dub, it is known as Running Out of Time.
Episode Summary
Most of the world is accepting Sonic's imminent departure gracefully, except for Chris and the GUN commander. The commander, as part of an attempted coup against the President, launches an attack against Dr. Eggman. Sonic arrives, and seeing Eggman seemingly helpless, actually fights off GUN; after all, the trip home won't work unless Eggman comes with them. As GUN takes damage, Eggman launches all his airships again, and combines them into one massive aerial fortress. This makes short work of GUN while Knuckles and Rouge rescue the President.
