Rattlekiller[1][2] is a Badnik featured in Mirage Saloon Zone from Sonic Mania.
Overview
This Badnik is a variant of the Caterkiller Badnik from Sonic the Hedgehog, sporting green segments with yellow spikes. They can be found crawling up and down on the totem poles found throughout the Zone. When approached by the player, they will spring out from the totem pole and attack them, similar to a Crawlton. Like all other variants, attacking their head with a Spin Attack will destroy them.
At the end of Sonic/Tails/Mighty/Ray's version of Act 1, the Heavy Magician will use her magic to transform a Rattlekiller into the Uber Caterkiller.
