The Mega Chopper(referred as Kapu-kapu in the Japanese Manual) is a small robotic fish found in the waters of Hydrocity Zone. They swim around the water, and, when approached, they jump onto the player, stealing its rings. The player is now unable to jump and normally, the only ways to get rid of them is by either being hit by another badnik, or standing in moving spikes, or by rolling into tubes (complete a loop, and the tube will grant you auto/forced spin). Another way of getting these off of your character is to move around sporadically, bashing on the left and right directional buttons. However, it's always best to avoid these badniks at all cost or by destroying them with a spin, or a jump. The Insta-shield can also be an invaluable tool in dispatching of these badniks.
